Auto-generated Relative Importance for Multi-agent Inducing Variable in Uncertain and Preference Involved Evaluation

Abstract Inducing information and bi-polar preference-based weights allocation relevant decision-making are one important branch of Yager’s decision theory. In the context basic uncertain environment, there exist more than inducing factor relative importance between them should be determined. Some subjective methods require makers to indicate preference extents for each as well all involved factors. However, although factors can often elicited, sometimes cannot provide required importance. This work presents some approaches address such problem in environment. From mere offered by makers, we propose three methods, statistic method, distance method linguistic variable derive different factors, respectively. Each has advantages disadvantages, third serves a trade-off first two methods. The rationale uncertainty evaluation is analyzed, detailed procedure presented, numerical example given illustrate proposals.
